RECYCLAGE

Piles : There is a special bin for the collection of batteries at the reception

Light bulbs : Une poubelle spéciale pour la collecte des piles est disponible à la réception.

Matériaux : Les clients du Negroponte Resort Eretria peuvent participer à notre programme de recyclage des déchets en fonction de leur matériau – papier, plastique, aluminium, verre. Dans les parties centrales de l’hôtel et à l’extérieur, il y a des poubelles pour la collecte de ces matériaux.

Appareils électriques et électroniques : En collaboration avec un agent de recyclage certifié, nous collectons et envoyons tous les matériaux à recycler..

Graisses et huiles de cuisson : En collaboration avec un agent certifié, nous recyclons toutes les graisses et huiles utilisées dans les cuisines de notre hôtel.

ROOMS

In every room there is a general light switch which activates the electricity in the room once the customer places their card-key.

Magnetic contacts at the windows of the rooms that switch of the a/c as soon as they open.

LED light bulbs in every room

COMMUNAL AREAS

In all staff hallways, communal toilets, underground garage etc. motion detectors have been placed to turn on the lights.

The floodlights in the parking lot, the entrance of the hotel, the outdoor spaces and the pool are LED technology.

SAVING WATER

In all of the communal washrooms there are sinks with photocell in order to stop the flow of the water when there is no need for it.

All of the toilet flushes are of double flow.

In every bathroom there are wall mounted certified soap dispensers installed in order to minimize the amount of water needed for rinsing.

We inform the customers that they can change the towels and sheets depending on their needs. This “wash on demand” program saves water and detergent.

There are water saving information signs near all the taps used by the staff.

HEATING – A/C – WARM WATER

60% of the hotel’s warm water is heated up in solar systems.

The hotel’s central air conditioning uses a geothermal technology which accomplishes a 50% energy save compared to the air systems.

Heat pumps of the newest technology are used in order to save up to 60% energy compared to the traditional systems. All the above are of inverter technology for the maximum results in saving energy. Regular insulation maintenance guarantees minimum energy waste.

DETERGENTS-CLEANING PRODUCTS

All the cleaning products are eco-labeled and are produced from biodegradable sources.

In all the rooms there are individual washing products as well as shampoo and soap dispensers. By using the dispensers the customer is actively taking part in environment protection as there is no waste and minimum of water is used for rinsing.

FOOD

Soutien du marché local/grec, en servant des aliments et des boissons provenant autant que possible de petites exploitations agricoles locales, de producteurs familiaux et d’entreprises locales, contribuant ainsi à l’économie locale.

COMPOST

Nous utilisons les brins d’herbe coupés, l’herbe et les feuilles pour produire un compost naturel destiné à fertiliser les jardins de l’hôtel.

SMOKING

Il est interdit de fumer dans tous les locaux de l’hôtel ainsi que dans les chambres.
